Sellers description:
1967 Jaguar XKE E type 4.2 automatic, 2 plus 2, low original miles series 1, triple carburators, straight 6 cylinder engine. This is an excellent running and driving Jaguar with lots of power and performance, healthy automatic transmission. 12,000 was just spent in 2013 on the engine, very fresh and ready to go. Newer brakes, newer expensive exhaust system. Good tires, new battery.
This car was restored back in the 80's. The interior is in immaculate condition, freshley restored, and needing nothing. I don't have the original radio. The exterior of the car is in great driver quality condition, there are a few touch up spots on the paint, nothing serious. It was touched up many years ago. The underside of the car is in great condition, just one fault where someone lifted the car and carelessly missed the jack spot causing a "break" in the floor. I had it looked at, and it is an easy fix. No rot, just carelessness a long time ago. The glass on the car is in great condition, all tripplex glass, glassed over lights are in great shape.
This is a desirable car with the triple carbs, healthy running 4.2 (6 cyl) numbers matching engine. This is a blast drive, and it gets many looks. Overall, this is a very nice driver quality car.

Imported into the United Kingdom from the United States and registered KOP156E on 23 July 2015, the mileage was 46,821 miles. The tax and MoT were renewed in July 2016. Lot 318 at Historics of Brooklands Classic and Sports Car Auction on 29 August 2015. Not sold. Catalogue description below. The URL is www.historics.co.uk/buying/auctions/2015-08-29/cars/ref-123-1966-jaguar-e-type-2 ... This E Type has recently been repatriated to the UK and given a clear bill of health by a specialist mechanic and as such has just passed its MoT. The white coachwork is in good order although not perfect however, the leatherette interior is virtually unmolested. We are advised that she drives with no known faults and the engine runs with good oil pressure, the automatic transmission operated correctly on our short test drive. This left hand drive Jaguar is a matching numbers example and is a perfectly useable Jaguar, with E Type prices rising of late. KOP156E could prove to be a sound investment. Supplied with a V5 registration document.
