Sold at Kensington Motor Group auction, Bridgehampton, NY, June 11, 2005, $29,700. SCM reports very good panel fit, except bonnet out at right rear bottom. Older paint with some orange peel; sanding marks and bubbling on bonnet seams. Rust in rear wheel arches. Pitting in chrome trim on windows. Interior shows good patina with very worn front seats. Somewhat tired but seemed to run very well with no major leaks or smoke.

I bought this car unseen from eBay in 2012! It had just been reimported and re-registered back into the UK by a dealer near Birmigham. The front seats had just been retrimmed. I have lightly restored the car incl conversion to RHD and had it respreayed in its original blue, and changed the 3.5 diff for a 2.8. It now looks really good and goes really well.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
