Hi there.
I have the car 8 numbers before yours, made on april 5th 1966 (1E75339). I have the car in pices as you can see from the XKE data site. It was imported in pices i believe in about 1990 and i am starting to buy parts to put it back together. I notice there is no clutch bottle on your engine shot. Is yours an automatic? Is the gearbox number the same type for autos as manuals?
If you have any interior shots - especially of the upper interior or rear compartment that would be nice as my car is just a bare shell. with some of the trim missing in the boxes of trim. I am especially interested in how the rear wheel arches were covered as I have no old trim to copy.
Thanks and congratulations on such a nice car. It has made me more enthusiastic to do mine!

Either the car number is wrong (the BW suffix is missing) or the gearbox is not original. You can't have an automatic car and a non-automatic car number and both be called 'original'. Still a nice car mind you! Shame there are no interior shots.

Hi Peter
Sorry that I missed your comments. Have not visited the side for long time.
Yes it is an orginal automatic. The BW suffix are just missing on this side. All the numbers match the Jaguar Harritage certificate.
How are your prosject going on?
