For sale Historics Auction 8th March 2014

1967 Jaguar E-Type Series I. 2+2 Coupé
Registration HND555E
Chassis Number 1E50878
Engine Number 7E53342-9
Odometer reading 78,731 miles
Estimate £25,000 - £30,000
Hammer Sold - £29,120

This delightful Jaguar E-Type was originally registered in the UK on 21st June 1967 and is supplied with a comprehensive history file, including the original buff logbook. The current vendor has been the proud custodian of HND555E for the last 30 years and feels the time is right for this Series I coupé to be enjoyed by another enthusiast. Finished in Carmen red with tan interior, this example is supplied with a V5 registration document and current MoT test certificate. The 4.2 engine runs smoothly and quietly and we are advised this 2+2 coupé drives in a manner to be expected. Given the modest estimate, this is the perfect chance to perhaps turn a long held dream into reality.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
