This car was sold again via Vintage motors Sarasota FL in early 2011.
Note that there are major discrepancies in the title information. The number 1E indicates a 2+2, which means the donor was a Series 1 4.2L from April 1966, or later. Therefore the donor cannot have been titled 1964 as claimed, nor would it have supplied a 3.8L engine.
So long as the paperwork is accepted today after several owner changes it's probably all fine, but certainly the data as shown on this listing are impossibly inconsistent.

This car is now back in the UK. It's VIN is correct, it's UK title is correctly attributing a 4.2 engine on triple Webers and the chassis was originally that of a 1967 2+2. Currently being converted from the Lynx built wet sump DType to dry sump XKSS.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
