Details
Offered here is an early S1 4.2 2+2, which has benefited from an extensive and very expensive restoration, which included the fitting of a new bonnet (1/3 of the car), costing over £4000. The chassis and running gear have been fully overhauled, as have the brakes, suspension and steering. The whole body was bare metalled and repainted and the car equipped with stainless steel exhaust, chrome wire wheels, new chrome fittings, a new black leather interior and a full length Webasto sunroof.

Described as being an outstanding example, the car has the 4.2XK engine and 4-speed manual transmission with a Salisbury Limited Slip Differential. It is offered complete with a large history file, which includes many invoices for parts etc.
