EJaguar E-type S1 2+2, Carmen Red, Black Leather. RHD Genuine UK Car with Matching Numbers
Purchased by the current registered keeper 21 years ago and showing one former keeper since 1981. The car was stripped down about 10 years ago and repainted. The body looks very solid and rust free, the paint looks flat but should buff up, there are some localised areas where the paint is bubbling slightly such as on the bottom edge of the tailgate. PLease note that the bonnet is a S2 bonnet.
All the engine frames have been painted well, the engine was fully rebuilt about Seven years ago and although it has not run it has been tuned over on a regular basis to keep it free and oiled. The engine is the original that was fitted when new.
All the parts of the car are present with exception of the Windscreen and exhaust system.
This E-type is a perfect opportunity to get a very genuine car that just needs reassembling and could be great value.
PLease feel free to call me on 07887 885590 should you have any further questions or to arrange a viewing.
I would urge anyone wishing to bid to view the car first.
I can not offer any warranty on the engine as we did not rebuild it ourselves.
The winning bidder will be required to pay ten percent deposit within two days and the balance within seven days of the auction ending.
Good Luck and happy bidding
Harry

This car did not turn out to be a car just needing reassembling. It is now re-bodied as a 4.2 roadster in resplendent opalescent blue fully MOT'd and running on the road. Like the body the engine may have been fully rebuilt at sometime but it needed and received another full rebuild!
