Sold by Fayreoak Classics of Cheltenham in May 2021. Seller's description below.
www.fayreoak.com/autos/a-true-barn-find-66-e-type/

1966 E Type Series 1 2+2 Manual UK RHD. A true barn find purchased in 1973 by its second owner, parked up in 2006 due to an alternator failure. We now have it running and driving, good oil pressure, drives very well, no smoke on start up, gearbox all good. Due to its long time in storage it will need brakes and suspension going through before use. It has been sat in a barn for 21 years. It is an original matching numbers car in its original colours. Finished in Opalescent Silver Grey it has had a new bonnet and outer sills in the early 1990s. Floors and rear panels all original, solid and good. Interior all original and good, as is the Webasto roof. Overall can be used as it is with very presentable paintwork although it would benefit from having the rear bumper re-chromed. A true survivor of a rare UK E Type.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
