Car parts age after 50 years. Had the head rebuilt and the valve guides replaced so I could burn unleaded fuel. Carbs rebuilt and the rear end as well. Added new exhaust system as the original deteriorated. New brakes and tires. Airconditioning works great. An original California car with no rust whatsoever. Original owner was my uncle. needs a few more minor repairs. The interior and exterior chrome looks virtually new. My mechanics are Steve and Ray Turner at Westland Motors, Thousand Oaks, Ca. He added for a coolant Evans high performance waterless engine coolant. No overheating problems. It boils at 375 degrees. the racing cars use it.
