Car to be at auction 11/18

www.osenat.com/lot/93661/9473601

Auction description:

Lot 141

Est. 70 000 - 90 000 €

1967 JAGUAR TYPE E SERIES 1 4,2L

Serial number 1E34387

One of the last Series 1

Matching numbers

French gray card

This Type E Jaguar was released on June 6, 1967 in Toronto, Canada. This is a true Jaguar Type E 4.2 L Coupe 2 seats "Series 1" although its headlights apparent may suggest a series ½. Indeed, the latter was manufactured only between December 1967 and September 1968. This Jaguar is healthy in its history, it has its certificate of authenticity Jaguar Heritage issued in November 2006. Its owner acquired it in December 2009, it was at this moment that it was imported into France. His body is painted in Midnight Blue Pearl, replacing his original Silver Gray. In good condition, it presents well. Its interior is covered with burgundy leather matching very well with the paint of the bodywork. The upholstery is in very good condition, it was redone in 2012. This Jaguar is equipped with a functional Muntz radio and 3-point safety belts. Its mechanics are original, it is in very good working condition, both the engine and the four-speed gearbox. Indeed, many interventions have been made recently to perfect its condition: the front shocks have been replaced recently, as the exhaust brand Bell.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
