cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-XKE-Coupe-1967-Jaguar-XKE-4-2-Series-1-All ...
Car has a buy it now price of $59,500 for 20 days.
Sellers description:
This Car is a True 16K Miles Survivor w/All Original Paint & Interior!
Here is a beautiful, once in a lifetime find of an all original 1967 Jaguar XKE "Series 1" 4.2 Coupe that is in excellent condition inside and out. This has been a one doctor owned car since 1968 and is the first time it has ever been offered for sale. It only 16K documented original miles on it with all original paint and interior. It also has all it's original books, sales brochure, tool kit, jack and spare tire. This is truly of one of the nicest original, survivor Jaguar XKE's on the market!
There was just over $11K spent on the car in 2010 putting the car in perfect mechanical condition after being in climate controlled storage for the past couple decades.
Here is a little history on the car. This car was bought new by Madison, Wisconsin used car salesman by the name of Roger Braun. He flew to New York and personally drove it off the boat from England and drove it home. He then built a wooden stall around it in his garage to protect it from his children's bikes. Then Dr. Wegner bought the car in March of 1968 and has owned it ever since. The car has never been driven in the rain or snow. The car is completely original and one of a kind!
This car is equipped with the following options:
* 4.2 Liter 6 cylinder Engine (#'s Matching)
* 4-speed Manual Transmission
* Factory Chrome Wire Wheels with New Redline Tires
* Original Leather Interior
* AM-FM Radio
* Wood Steering Wheel
* Etc....
This car retains all of it's original factory "Dark Blue" paint that still looks amazing. It has been detailed to a beautiful shine. The body is totally rust free and accident free! This car looks amazing and was amazingly well preserved. This car has always been garage kept and pampered its entire life. The original chrome wire wheels look like new and it has a brand new set of redline tires on it.
The all original grey leather interior looks like it just came off the showroom floor. The seats and carpet have no wear on them at all. The dash and gauge cluster is just as bright and clean as the day it was new. Everything works flawlessly in the car. All the original glass is excellent. It still has it's original wire wheel spare with it's original Dunlap spare tire that has never been on the ground. The original kit is 100% complete and has never been used. It also has it's original jack still and wheel hammer.
Mechanically, this Jaguar is in excellent condition and it runs and drives excellent like a 16K mile car should. It has it's original 4.2 Liter 6 cyl engine that runs like a top. The engine compartment is all original and looks beautiful. It just had over $11K spent on the car mechanically in 2010 making the car run and drive perfectly after many years of storage. They went through the suspension, fuel system, seals and all new polished stainless exhaust system.

the interior is clearly "Light Blue", very common when new, now becoming increasingly rare! Cheers, Pekka T. 1E76372BW

Beschreibung

1967 Jaguar E Type
Rarity, only 16,300 miles
€117,500
Marcus Kümpel
63322 Rödermark, Germany
First delivered by Jaguar Cars New York in May 1967 to Roger L. Brown from Madison, Wisconsin, USA. Mr. Brown flew to New York and personally picked up the E-Type directly from the ship in port and drove it home. Once there, he built a wooden shed around the E-Type in his garage to protect it from his children's bikes.
The second owner, Dr. Gene Wegner, also from Madison, Wisconsin, USA, bought the E-Type in March 1968 and owned it until 2011. During this time the car was mostly stored. It has never been driven in rain or snow.
From 2011 to 2013, it was owned by a car dealer from Mesa, Arizona, USA.
A German enthusiast purchased the E-Type in 2013. There was rear damage during transport to Germany, which is why he sold the E-Type to the current owner. He then had the car rebuilt in a highly professional manner and 100% original.
The E-Type has not yet been registered in Germany and is waiting for its third registered owner.
