Car lived most of it's life in Arizona before being driven to Lynam WA. where it was stored for about 10 years.
Wife & myself first rode in car in 1971 while on holiday to USA.
Then owner passed away & I bought the car & shipped it to Australia.
Car is still LHD & used on club runs on regular basis.
Love it.
Ron & Kay.

What is it you need updated? BTW, the engine number you have listed is not cvorrect. If you search for cars around yours you will see there should be no letters in the engine number after the "4E" prefix. Drop me a note if you have any questions or additional info. Do you have any pictures of the car you would like to share?

Advertised for sale on carsales.com.au 13 March 2016, with asking price AU$120,000. Seller describes the car as follows: "This unique original numbers Jaguar E Type will be sold with a new roadworthy certificate. 43000 miles on the clock, but the engine was rebuilt in 2004 so the mileage was probably reset at that stage. This car is exceptional value at $120,000 considering its condition and heritage.
Recent upgrades under my care include: - Stainless steel extractors, exhaust, straight through sports mufflers, and resonators. - New aluminium high performance radiator & header tank - 'Fosseway Performance' integrated radiator fan/cowling. - 'Bob Beere Racing' Oil Cooler - Engine temp never goes above 90C even in Brisbane summer stop/start rush hour traffic. - New Retro Air original style A/C. - Halogen headlights - Sports High flow air filter.
Overall condition GOOD or higher by Hagerty definitions.
Mechanically excellent, full exterior bare metal strip down and repaint in 2002, so paintwork about 14 years old (rust free but some chips, surface scratches and marks). Full engine rebuild, unleaded fuel conversion and new clutch 2004. Full IRS rebuild, adjustable shocks all round and new bushes 2014. Complete new wiring harnesses throughout, and modern alternator 2014.
Receipts for all work done since 2002, heaps more receipted work. All original parts saved during my tenure as owner.
I use this car as my daily driver, and I have no problems with city traffic or highway cruising. When the rear IRS was rebuilt by the previous owner he fitted a 2.88 rear diff ratio for relaxed highway driving (2,200 rpm at 100kph, and red line is 5,500 rpm so plenty of room at the top end, engine is never stressed).
Logbooks, manuals and assorted books supplied with the car".
