Jaguar E-Type 1966 Series 1 4.2 Fixed head coupe. Motor stars and sounds good. Oil pressure sending unit electrical tab connection is broken off, so I cannot easily advise on oil pressure. However the motor sounds solid. Brakes function, clutch functions, Car needs new gas tank, it is currently running on temporary fuel supply. Exhaust manifold donuts need replaced. This is a numbers matching car that would be an ideal candidate for a restoration. Driver side floor needs partial to full replacement, Lower rockers on driver and passenger side at some point should be replaced. Trunk has smaller holes. With a little TLC such as rebuilding the carburetors, fixing the driver side floor, and installing a new fuel tank you could drive this car or bite the bullet and do a full restoration. Slimming down collection and focusing on other projects is why this Jaguar is for sale. Vehicle sold as is, no warranties implied or stated.
