Seen on eBay:

Up for auction here is a great "Barn Find" Series 1 XKE Jaguar:

Color-silver/blue with red leather (original paint)

Original matching number engine, manual transmission, and wire wheels. Some rust and dings. Stored inside for several years and not running or driving. Car needs total restoration.

Very nice bonnet and door fit. Front frame rails look straight, and no crash damage is evident.

Missing minor parts as shown in photos. What you see is what you get!

I do not have any history on the car. Actual mileage unknown. Title was lost, so car will be sold with a bill of sale only (titles are available through www.its-titles.com).

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
