Sellers comment:
THIS IS A ONE OWNER CAR !
Car was just bought from a old man ( 80 years ) who recently passed away. I bought this car from his son (heritage). Sold with the car is it's original Manufacturer's warranty sheet, periodic maintenance vouchers and the original owner's manual.

Sérial number is 1E30986. This car has never been restored.

All méchanical work and it is driveable. Body must be restored (both sills, rear wheel arches) but important structural areas have no rust. They are greats and solid (rear floors where rear arms are attached, front "Eiffel towers" mouting areas, etc...). Engine, gearbox and rear suspension are OK. There is very good oil pressure.

First goal was to change it in a race car but it's a pity for a one owner car, no ?.
So it's now for sale

A one owner car ( before me of course ). Was so rusty I will have to buy another tube to restore it !.
It's now in concours condition with many improvements. Perhaps one of the best E Type in France !.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
