I purchased this car in January of 2009. It had undergone an extensive, but incomplete, nut and bolt restoration of the engine, suspension, and undercarriage. The interior is completely new and is being installed now. The balance of the interior will then be assembled and should be finished by May of 2009. I will post new pictures when done. The interior is now red with original Golden Sand exterior. This car will be concours when complete.

Thanks Paul. they gave me first in class so that was nice! I don't see the added pictures though. I'm going to add a few myself but actually forgot about this great site! Thanks for waking me up.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
