I just checked my original notes of inspection dated 21 October 1994 (yes, 1994) regarding the gearbox number. The last digit of the gearbox number is slightly ambiguous (my handwriting), but on the balance of probabilities I now believe it is EJ2346. Interestingly, when I inspected on 21 October 1994, the engine number stamped on the cylinder head was 7E6603-9. 7E3272-9 (as recorded above) is taken from the ID plate. The engine block on 21 October 1994 was covered in grime and the engine number stamped on the engine block could not be seen.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
