Ebay item 7/31/04
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Opening bid $20,000.00, no bids yet, 1 day left in auction. 36000 miles.

Sellers description:
1986 Jaguar XKE Series 1 1/2, two seater roadster convertible. The Series 1 1/2 was current for a little more than a year. The Series 1 1/2 was manufactured between July 1967 thru October 1968. Most were shipped to the United States and only 627 Series 1 1/2 were built.

I bought the vehicle about eight years ago. It has always been kept in my garage and was maintained by an experienced Jaguar mechanic. There is no damage, the tires are almost new and on a scale of 1 to 10 (in my opinion) it is an 8. I am selling it because I have enjoyed driving it for several years and now it is time to let another Jaguar person reap the same benefits. Also, I want to go Polar Bear hunting and this sale will help pay the way.

Vehicle Condition
the vehicle is in good condition and was inspected recently by a Jaguar dealership. Several repair were made to insure it was in goo driving condition.Several other minor repairs were done to improve its looks and eye appeal prior to being listed for sale.

I purchased this car on Ebay. Paid too much. It was listed a very nice. It wasn't. It was a 25-50 footer. Many problems. It looked like it was painted with a brush. Clutch was bad - no lights - bad top, etc. It has been totally re-done. It has taken 1st, and 2nd Central Ohio regionals -drivers with 98.7 and 98.9 points. Drives like a dream. IT's A BEAUTIFUL CAR. I would add my pictures but it won't alter the original pictures.
