This car is a fine example of a classic Jaguar fully restored to Concours winning condition. Averaging 99.4 points in Jaguar shows, it has won: ''Best-in-Show'' at Portland, Sacramento and Salt Lake City; ''First-in-Class'' at every outing; two JCNA regional championships and several ''People''s Choice'' awards. Carmen red on biscuit, it stands out from the crowd! The mechanical part of the authentic restoration produced a great driving car which now has 5,000 miles on the fully rebuilt engine. Most of the restoration was done in 1991 and 1992 and the car has been in dry storage since 1995.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
