Sellers comment:
I am selling this vehicle for an elderly friend who purchased it off the showroom floor in 1968. It has 67,000 original miles and is in excellent condition. It has been stored in a carpeted garage and babied since it was new. The car has not been driven much in the past few years, and it is time to pass it on to someone who will enjoy the rare piece of automotive history. It was repainted and had a new top installed about ten years ago. It had a tune up last a month ago, and the car runs well. The carburetor was convereted to a Weber racing system, and will really haul a** on the freeway. Everything (except the racing exhaust and carb. are original on this car). The leather seats llook like they have never been used. This is truly a piece of automotive history. The car is located in West Bloomfield Michigan, and I welcome anyone to view the car prior to auction.

With three days left there has been NO BIDS on this car. Probably because the starting bid price is US $28,000.00

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
