The last covered head lamp car according to Jaguar historian Anders Clausager in the book Factory Original Jaguar E-type was 1E15888 and after July 1967 production were all open headlamps.

OTS cars headed for North America deleted the headlight glass in Jan, '67 beginning with VIN 1E14535. This number is from factory build records the spares bulletins put it at 1E14532. There were a few exceptions, probably old stock. Rest of the world came after the North American change.

Yes. This is a model for European delivery which was later and production of covered headlamps ended for all E-types at 1E15888.
