I have owned this car since 1971. The car is in excellent condition and was driven on a regular basis. Having children slowed the driving. When the children became drivers, the car became unregisted until the children left home. I still receive rave reviews of the car like any other E-type on the road.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
