Every component has been rebuilt or replaced in this Show/Diver by Classic Showcase. No expense was spared in this correct and proper restoration. The craftsmanship is superb as well as the fit. Perfection was our goal in restoring this original numbers matching E-Type Roadster. This car recently recieved 99.95 points at a JCNA Concourse. It is a superb example.
Details
The 4.2 engine was rebuilt to factory specification with new pistons, bearings, valves, guides, seals, timing chain, head completely rebuilt, rebuilt carburetors, clutch, all new brake parts, drive shaft balanced, restored shocks, gas tank restored and epoxy sealed, rebuilt fuel pump, all electrical components, gauges, knobs, switches rebuilt, rescreened or replaced, top bows and seat frames powder coated, new exhaust system, rear end completely rebuilt as well as the transmission.
The body was stripped to bare metal repainted then color sanded and buffed. New rubber seals and grommets and gaskets. All the trim and bright work has been replaced or replated, New interior, carpet, panels, dash, and seats. This was a comprehensive restoration with much time spent on detail and quality. This is one of the finest examples for sale in the world today. With all numbers matching and a DVD movie of the restoration process comes with the car.
