I discovered it for sale in 1983 when it had 17,500 original miles.
I was involved with its purchase for its third owner and I restored and maintained the car from 1983 until 1990.
During those years I located a factory hardtop and an authentic dealer optional Becker Europa AM FM stereo installation kit with special E-type Becker deep cone speakers with reverse magnets and special speaker grill mesh. At that time it had the factory spare tire / tool kit and manual.
I performed it's first valve adjustment check at 20,000 miles in 1989!
With a series III fan motor on stock mount, radial fan blade and 4 row core radiator it did not overheat on even the hottest summer day in traffic!
