Sellers description:
1967 Jaguar E-Type 4.2 O.T.S.
Vehicle Condition
I recently purchased this car from an elderly man that owned the car over twenty years. Several years ago he had the car painted, the engine and drive line rebuilt, and other various work done including a new top. The car also has almost new tires and exhaust system. Since that time the car was rarely driven. When I took delivery of the car it ran but had old fuel in the tank. I'm presently removing the tank to clean it, replacing the fuel/air filters, and rebuilding the carbs. I've also replaced the plugs and set the ignition timing. The car looks sharp at a distance but a close look shows a low quality paint job with bondo, also the drivers door doesn't work properly.I believe this car could be enjoyed as a driver and later restored. The car has matching numbers.
