    Current bid US $45,100 reserve not met 4 bids 6 days left in auction, buy it now price $69,500, sellersalesmotorcars, 58k miles.

    Sellers description:
    Motorcars Incorporated is offering this 1967 E-type S-1 OTS . This car we purchased from an Estate here in Connecticut USA right near our main Shop.
    This E-type Vin # 1E 13631 Began life as an opalescent blue car and it has only 58,385 miles indicated. The car was laid up for 3 years but with a new fuel pump and a good flush it started right up and has great oil pressure. Since it ran so surprisingly well, Our Restoration Department then replaced the Clutch hydraulics, the brake master Cylinder and all the Brake hydraulics including rebuilt Brake calipers and pads all around. The car was then drivable, and it drives smoothly and has a Matching number Gearbox which is very quiet, shifts fine and smooth. The Differential is also dry and quiet. One of the items that had been performed before the car was originally put away was a new steel exhaust system. In addition to making sure that the car runs and drives well, we also replaced all the fluids in the car, replaced any bad coolant hoses and all 3 of the original SU carburetors have been rebuilt. The Water pump was also replaced with a remanufactured item. The motor has very good compression and it is dry and quiet. This car can be driven onto a ship or into a container for European transport no problem.
    This car is a very good car for a restoration project. The frame rails are good and already painted opalescent Blue, the cars exterior obviously is refinished in Silver.
    The bonnet is sound, no rust in the hinge area, and the boot is all sound as well.
    The floors, and sills have rust, which has been patched by the previous owner, the car should have floors and sills to be sound. Although the body tag, and the Gearbox numbers along with the picture frame number all are correct, and match the original commission plate.

    The motor block and Cylinder head seem to be a newer replacement program block, seems to be a 1968 4.2 block. However the intake, exhaust, Carburetors and distributor and all other accessory items indicate that they are all correct 1967 or correct S-1 vintage items. The Cooling fan assembly was updated to a later 2 fan system for cooling purposes and the car runs perfectly on the normal in the temperature gauge in all situations.
    So this is what everyone always asks for, a real 1967 E-type OTS that they can purchase and restore and still be way behind market value... Here it is. Look at the pictures closely, this car needs some TLC and some restoration and it can be a fun and inexpensive OTS for way below what we are seeing these cars trade for.
    Review;
    New Clutch hydraulics- new fluids
    Rebuild stainless brake calipers- new hoses fluid and new Brake Master
    Rebuilt carburetors- rebuilt fuel pump
    Rebuilt Water pump, new hoses and new engine coolant
    New air, fuel and oil filters and all new fluids
    Smooth Transmission with all new fluid
    Smooth Quiet differential flushed and new fluid
    Newer Steel exhaust system with all new mounts.

    The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

    What disease did Lucas succumb to?
