This E Type is said to have been originally registered in New York on 10th May 1966 and returned to the UK on 4th January 1991.
On its repatriation to the UK the car underwent a major restoration, which was completed in 1994 and included a number of desirable upgrades
The specification includes the following.
Engine: Rebuilt to unleaded specification, fully balanced to race standards, Series 3 injection camshaft with polished and ported cylinder head, Lumenition electronic ignition, Kenlow electric fan with manual override, high density radiator, Kenlow engine pre-heat system and alternator charging system.
Brakes: Coopercraft uprated with XJS servo.
Suspension: Koni adjustable shocks, rear suspension and cage removed, rebuilt and powder coated.
Chromework: All chrome re-plated by Derby plating of Rolls Royce fame, 5 x 7x15 chrome wire wheels.
The vendor also states that the car is equipped with a 3:06 to 1, high ratio differential, giving a 165mph top speed, a stainless steel, six branch tubular extraction exhaust manifold, which is coupled to a 2.5 inch bore, Sureflow stainless exhaust system, a unique alarm system with battery cut off, a new hood with cover and tonneau and a tailored Jaguar dust cover.
Finished in red with black leather interior, this E Type is said to be in very good order throughout.
Please note: This E Type is right hand drive.
