The car is original in all respects except the interior has evidently been changed from Light Blue to Black. I have owned the car since th early 1970's and bought it from a gentleman named Joe Diamond (if my memory serves me right)on Bainbridge Island in the Seattle, WA area. The only restoration type work that has been done to the car I had done about 5 or 6 years ago. I had the car returned to its original color as it had been repainted BRG. Found some rust in the process and replaced the floor panels and a few other rusted items. Mechanically the car still runs extremely well even though no work to the engine or drive trsin has been needed. Had the front suspension, brakes and carburators rebuillt and the fuel pump replaced within the past couple of years. Car has about 88,000 actual miles on it.

I am a member of JCNA and JCCA. I display the car in most Jaguar events in the central Arizona area, and the car has been awarded a trophy in each and every event. I was a Jaguar judge but I no loger am an active judge. Also own a S-Type Jaguar that my wife Lucille displays as well.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
