Find that hard to believe if the E-Type centre was involved in it.

Auction description:
1965 Jaguar E Type Series 1 4.2 Roadster
Registration Number: EOL 597C
Chassis Number: 1E1241
This example of Jaguar's legendary E type is a Series 1 4.2 roadster, which makes it one of the most sought-after of all E type models. Having been sympathetically maintained by the current owner, the car is described as being in good condition with recent work including a complete gearbox rebuild, new clutch assembly, new halogen headlamps, renewed electrical wiring, new water pump and new stainless steel wheels and new tyres. With red paintwork and tan leather interior, the car is stunning from every angle. The engine does not burn oil, smoke or leak and complements the car's original characteristics. Having covered 49,331 miles, this E type comes with a MoT test certificate valid until February 2009, V5 registration document and Heritage Certificate. A highly desirable example of Jaguar's most famous model, this is an opportunity not to be missed!
