Ebay item 11/23/19

www.ebay.com/itm/1968-Jaguar-E-Type/303360118147

Current bid: $33,333, 1 bid no reserve, 6 days left in auction, seller godspath982, 54k miles, Kennesaw, Georgia.

Seller's description:

This 1968 Jaguar XKE Roadster is powered by its numbers-matching 4.2L twin-cam straight-six and was mechanically refurbished 5 years ago by the previous owner’s son. Built in May 1968, this example reportedly spent all of its life in California. The car was reportedly stored from 1985 until 2014, when it was refreshed with new brakes and suspension components, a carburetor and water pump rebuild, a new fuel tank, new tires, and more. The previous owner has installed new carpeting and a vinyl top, used seats, refreshed the hardtop, and performed a service and wiring inspection. This car is in my possesion since 2018, and I can tell you the car runs and drives great, engine pull strong, transmission shift good, no leaks, no smoke. I have a clean title in hand.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
