Car now offered at:

www.motorcarsinc.com/details-1966-jaguar-e~type-1966_jaguar_s1_e~type_open_two_seater-used-1e11980.html

Seller's description:

1966 JAGUAR S1 E-TYPE OPEN TWO SEATER Convertible

Clear Title, Miles 72,000, Engine 3.8 LITRE 6 CYL., Transmission 4 Spd Manual, Exterior Color Red, Interior Black Leather, VIN # 1E11980

This Signal Red Series 1 OTS with black interior will turn heads as you cruise along in style but, be warned, there is a surprise lurking under the hood.

Motorcars Incorporated was commissioned by the prior owner to fit a higher revving 3.8 liter motor in order to give the car a little more 'pep.' We've recently gone through the car to respectfully address what time can do to our beloved vehicles. We've installed a new brake master and servo, new clutch, new stainless exhaust system, and new tires. All fluids have been flushed and replaced with fresh. There is even a new, retro radio in the dash. As a result, this car drives well and promises years of motoring joy to her next caretaker.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
