Ebay item 10/22/24
www.ebay.com/itm/315875604969
Current bid $1,025, reserve not met, 2 bids, ends in 6, seller silverstone-motorcars, 22k miles.
Seller's description:
What we have here is a 1967 Series I Jaguar e-type Roadster with 22,024 unknown miles on the odometer. She is finished in Charcoal Gray with an excellent Red Leather Interior and complementary Black canvas top. This car is in very good condition and is a solid example of the Series I e-type Jaguar roadster.
This 1967 Series I Jaguar e-type Roadster was put into storage in 1995 and was just recently re-commissioned and put up for sale. Great care was taken to properly bring the engine back to life, and she now runs and drives nicely. She was stored with fresh oil and the fuel system was completely drained. The three carburetors were rebuilt, we replaced the battery and reattached much of the chrome that had been taken off the car. We have replaced items that were missing and still have a few chrome items like the front over-riders and grill cross member which will be in this week.
The car is powered by her replacement 4.2 liter Inline 6 (a Series 1.5 motor offering improved cooling), coupled to her original 4 Speed Manual Gearbox. The body and paint are in good condition with no rust and just a few paint issues that are shown in the gallery. The interior is exceptionally nice.
Since the car has not been driven the new owner is going to want to go through everything themselves to bring it up to their level of satisfaction but as you can see, for a car this age that was stored that long, she is in fine shape. This beautiful roadster is ready for a new home s do not let the opportunity to own her pass you by. We have priced this vehicle to provide you the best deal on a car of this caliber.

This car would not be a 1967 with that vin number. It would be a 1965.

Constructed using methods derived from the Le Mans-wining D-Type race car, the Jaguar E-Type (XK-E) is said to have been lauded as “the most beautiful car ever made” by Enzo Ferrari. This 1965 Series I Open Two-Seater Roadster comes finished in Charcoal Grey over red leather upholstery and features a replacement 4.2-liter inline-six cylinder engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. After approximately 30 years in storage, this example was recently recommissioned and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Massachusetts.
This Series I was previously refinished in Charcoal Grey and features a black soft top, split chrome bumpers, bright trim, glass headlight covers, clear side marker signals, and a vented bonnet with outside latches and welded louvers. It rides on 15” chrome knockoff wheels dressed in older Redline tires. The seller states that several chrome trim pieces have been replaced or replaced, and a black-finished hardtop requiring refurbishment is included. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin presents red leather upholstery with matching door panels and carpets. A contrasting black dashboard houses Smiths instrumentation, a suite of central-mounted toggle switches and gauges, and an AM/FM cassette stereo. All gauges and accessories are said to be in working order.
Beneath the bonnet lies a replacement 4.2-liter DOHC inline-six with triple SU carburetors, delivering up to 265 HP to the rear wheels via a 4-speed manual transmission. Standard features include independent coil-spring rear suspension, power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, and a synchromesh gearbox. The seller states the vehicle was placed into storage in 1995 with fresh oil and a drained fuel system. Recent service reportedly includes fluid changes, replacement of the radiator expansion tank, a carburetor rebuild, and new steering column bearings.
This sale will include a clean title.
